I follow these and have found that when followed it does work and the multitasking one really rings true.

The Frank Morgan Story.
I had the honor to interview alto saxophonist Frank Morgan on WBGO so many years ago. To my surprise, he was amazingly open and honest about Frank the man and about the mistakes he had made throughout his life. He said that his life should serve as an example of what you shouldn't do. A message that he passed on to young musicians. Our hour together was over before you knew it. He was was so happy to be in what he called my "radio living room". He was a beautiful cat.

"Sound of Redemption - The Frank Morgan Story" opens today, December 2nd in NYC. It's only running for a week at the IFC Center. I'm going to try to get there.

Watch the trailer: http://www.michaelconnelly.com/extras/sound/
"The late jazz saxophonist Frank Morgan's tale of redemption from drug addict, conman and convict to beloved elder statesman of jazz. This documentary film was directed by NC Heikin, and produced by James Egan and bestselling author Michael Connelly....."
