There is no city ordinance that prohibits shooting in backyards, and there won't be one anytime soon in Port Orange or any other Florida city. State law won't allow cities or counties to regulate the use of firearms and ammunition. Although Florida law states that no one can fire a gun recklessly and negligently, it does not give specifics on how a gun range should be built. And that has Volusia County officials worried.

In October 1953, “Mr. Ben” was hired as a temporary  #waiter  at a downtown  #daytonabeach  cafeteria, serving meals for $1.25 and coffee for 10 cents a cup.
Sixty years later, he is still at it, although the meals now cost about $8 and coffee, $2.29 a cup.
