The belly of the beast

Elephant rock is such an interesting formation of rocks, but the most notable point is likely the surf club that perches over it all. Established in 1919 to help provide a safer environment around the northern and southern Currumbin headlands, it now also provides a great place to eat with a great view. This shot was taken yesterday morning, during a beautiful and dramatic sunrise.

Elephant rock, what a beautiful and interesting name. So pretty, I'm learning something new.
