One of the advantages of leaving the office this late is seeing the sun set over San Francisco.

Six years ago, I started +Teens in Tech Labs mainly because I wanted to create a community of other young entrepreneurs. Fast-forward to today, and we've hosted six conferences in Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C, and gotten the support of major brands like AT&T, Google, Microsoft, Best Buy, JBL, and many others. On top of that, we ran a summer incubator program for two years that has helped many young entrepreneurs with their first foray into startups.

Six years later, after everything that we've accomplished, I'm a bit sad to announce that we've decided to shut down Teens in Tech. It wasn't an easy decision, but a decision that had to be made. With everyone working on other projects, it was hard to dedicate the needed resources to really take Teens in Tech into what it could've been.

I'm incredibly thankful to the entire team, our board (+Louis Gray and +Chris Yeh) for their support over the years, and of course, the community that helped us achieve everything we set out to do in the last six years.

This is not the end of the story, simply the beginning of the next chapter. Onwards.

Daniel - Thank you for your service to the community! I am sure many of your members benefited greatly from the activities and a lot of growth was seen. While I was never a member - I did watch from afar and was and continue to be impressed by your leadership. I can't wait to see how you impact the world going forward!

I have some big news to share! As a big sports fan and Bay Area native, I’ve been following the +Golden State Warriors for quite some time. That’s why I'm very excited to announce that I’ve joined the Warriors organization, leading Digital Initiatives!

I’ll be working on all things involving emerging technology, innovation, analytics and much more, as the Warriors continue to be one of the most innovative sports teams in the world. With the SF Arena project in the works, and working along side my good friend +Kenny Lauer, it's an incredibly exciting time to be a part of the Warriors.

It was a difficult decision to leave +Ribbon, but life is about taking chances when the opportunity presents itself. I’ve been friends with Hany Rashwan for many years, and I know he is leading Ribbon to success. I’ll be cheering on from the sidelines.

Now we get ready for the upcoming 2014-2015 season! Go #DubNation !
