When Denton Adkinson and Bryan Williams told us the story of their documentary, In Their Own Words: The Tuskegee Airmen, back in 2011, we were amazed. It was one of the most popular stories we published that year, not just because of the inspiring subject matter, but for the remarkable way it came together as a project, and in post. In the years since then, the film has taken on a life of its own, including national DVD distribution, becoming part of high school curricula, NFL celebrations, museum presentations, and more.

Now in 2016, to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Tuskegee Airmen, their film will be presented as a live event on over 200 screens across the US. To get there, though, Denton and Bryan had to update their SD original for the big screen, add a surround mix, and prep it for digital distribution. This is a story of faith, fortitude, upres, ProRes, and the power of positive phone calls that you won't want to miss.

Moving content files safely, reliably and securely has always been mission critical to the media industry. And while the transition to digital format has in some ways made moving and sharing content easier, there are still many challenges. File sizes are growing, teams are more dispersed around the globe, and legacy solutions like FTP are unreliable and increasingly problematic.

In this CreativeCow Educational webinar you will learn how the transition from FTP systems to next generation SaaS solutions are not only overcoming these challenges but taking businesses to a new level of productivity and professionalism.

Attendees will learn:

• Why sending large files over distance is so difficult with legacy Internet protocols
• The risks and hidden costs of FTP
• Why today’s B2B solutions are true SaaS, not “cloud washed"
• How SaaS solutions like Media Shuttle are scalable and cost effective to any size business
• The easy to use, brandable and secure web portals of Media Shuttle

Panelist: Rick Clarkson, VP, Signiant
