NEW & IMPROVED CONCORD FALL LEAF COLLECTION:

The City of Concord, New Hampshire has made changes this year to its Fall Leaf Collection program. 🍂 As an additional service to supplement our regular bulk leaf collection, we have added three weeks of bagged collection to provide more predictability and opportunity for residents to participate in collection. We heard you! The City of Concord has a new and improved Fall Leaf Collection program! Bulk collection has not changed. We realize our bulk leaf collection faces some challenges. Adding a bagged collection will help address these challenges, while providing more predictability and opportunity for residents to participate. Our Public Properties Division and staff from the +Douglas N. Everett Arena have been busy this week working to convert the arena flooring from concrete back to ice to get ready for the return of ice season on Monday! We're hiring! We have a job opening for a full-time meter technician in our water billing office. Work involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of automatic meter reading (AMR) systems and traditional metering systems. Additional duties include disconnecting services, customer interaction, recording meter data, and backflow device testing.

Concord residents! Toxic, ignitable, corrosive, and reactive materials should not be disposed of in the trash or down the drain. Do your part to help keep Concord safe and clean by bringing your household hazardous waste to our annual collection day on Saturday, September 15th at the +Douglas N. Roller skating is returning to the +Douglas N. Everett Arena!

Starting Friday, June 8th, roller skating will take place Friday and Sunday nights through July 29, 2018. Only $5 for admission and $5 skate rentals if needed. Hours are Fridays 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Sundays 5:00pm to 7:00pm, with adult skate (ages 18+) hours on Fridays 8:15pm to 10:15pm and Sundays 7:15pm to 9:15pm.
