Collin Thompson is also currently serving as an Investment Promotions Ambassador for the Government of Hong Kong.
Born in Toronto, Canada, holding a BA in Film Studies from York University, and a diploma in Management from the Harvard Business School;
Before moving to Hong Kong in 2005, Collin garnered a strong foundation in Commercial Banking, specializing in Knowledge Based Industries (KBI) and was be responsible for both retaining and growing a portfolio of high valued clients: KBI companies from start up to public issuance, through effective relationship management practices, and delivery of financial advice that was tailored to the life cycle of media and entertainment companies.
Collin lived his formative years in Los Angeles where he trained to become a 2-time Canadian Figure Skating Champion (Nov 1993, Junior 1996) and a two time recipient of the Royal Bank Golden Blade Award one of Canadian figure skating’s highest honours.
