Woah, in 2014 the Code for America network grew from 34 to 137 brigades! Learn how the #cfabrigade developed and deployed technology to make communities safer, smarter, stronger, and more fun.
It's hard to believe 2014 is nearly over. It was an amazing year for the Brigade network as a whole, as well as for individual chapters all around the world. As the year wraps up, we wanted to take time to celebrate this year's wins and reflect on what we did together as a network.

“This #Thanksgiving, after a year as a CfA fellow working with the city of Chattanooga, I’ve got a whole new perspective on thanks.”

We have a lot to be thankful for this year. None of it would be possible without the incredible support, generosity, and dedication of this community, without all of those who raise not just their voices, but their hands.

Thank you for being part of this. Thank you for all that you do.

Three mistakes...and what Team Rhode Island learned from them.
Hailing from Philadelphia, Jeff is a nerd who likes using his coding skills for good causes. Before joining Code for America, Jeff helped create a web platform for diabetes data at Johnson & Johnson, a crowd-sourced vacant parcel tracker called Reclaim Philly, and a bike-parking locator.

This year, Code for America helped improve the experience of enrolling in schools in Rhode Island,  reduce courtroom wait lines in Atlanta, and made it easier to remodel homes in San Antonio. Every gift to helps us continue our work -- and do more -- to build a government for the people, by the people, in the 21st century. #GivingTuesday
