Fine old school charm and traditional service are found at this superb hotel. Superb food in the restaurant under exec. chef Martyn Nail now that the Gordon Ramsay restaurant is closed.

Really enjoyed their afternoon tea here. Excellent service and up to standard food and tea for the price you are paying. The only thing is the dishes don't come in the standard afternoon tea sets. But only a concern if you are after the traditional set. They also have a live band in the setting, which makes the visit extra special.

Excellent place to visit as well as stay. The stay are lovely and can,t do enough for you. Even if you can,t afford to stay visit for a drink or afternoon tea. A favourite place to visit in London.

If you want an uber posh breakfast in divine quintessentially english surroundings then this is the place. A little slow with service and fussy about bags in cloakrooms etc but irs quality and if your happy to spend £20 for breakie its worth it.

Had a lovely afternoon tea here in January and it really was a lovely experience. I did feel though that the staff could have been more attentive and replaced food quicker. The English breakfast tea was amazing from the Tregothnan Tea Estate in Cornwall. Would definateley go again.

A fantastic afternoon tea experience. The food and hospitality were everything we could have asked for. A real must do!
