Partner with Denton Water Utilities to conserve water! Water no more than twice a week to encourage strong, deep root systems, which are better equipped to withstand the extreme Texas summer heat. A good practice to adopt is the day-of-week watering schedule used in the City’s Drought Plan, in which addresses ending in an even number water on Sundays and Thursdays and those ending in an odd number water on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
