Great bar with good food. Huge draft list with the widest selection in the area. Large amount of seating but fills up fast so make sure you get there early.

The draw here is the beer selection. It's massive. The food is passable (and reasonably priced) and the service is good to not great during happy hour. Worth a trip once.

I came here for a friend's going away party. Obviously the beer list is amazing. Waiters are knowledgeable and will help you choose among the massive list. I don't know what the downstairs is like but upstairs it is almost too dark for my taste. Wish there was a little bit more light so I could see my friends when I'm talking to them. I'd come back without question.

If you like beer and are from DC you already know Churchkey is an institution. Ample draft selections, specialty and rare brews always on hand, and a knowledgeable staff make Churchkey the benchmark. The space is warm and its a great place to enjoy with a group or as a couple. I've never eaten here, but the menu looks good.

Unfortunately, we went on a day where the main restaurant downstairs was closed up so we had beer and snacks upstairs. With that said, I was very impressed by the location, the food and the beverages! Really tasty snacks and entrees. We had poutine, mac & cheese sticks, and many more and all were done quite well. The beer selection is fantastic though I must admit I am not a beer guy but the big group I was with all had amazing things to say about their selection and quality. I look forward to trying it again over a full dinner.

Wanted to like it more, but just seemed to be missing something. Still worth going to for a good beer selection.

Fantastic bar. Very relaxed, great bartenders, and clean! I came here with a group of friends on a Sunday night close to 9pm so it wasn't super crowded. They've got a huge selection of drafts, and the bartender was very friendly and made recommendations. From earthy and dry to fruity and bright, there are tons of beers to choose from, and the prices are very reasonable ($2-6 for 4oz and $6-15 for a glass). They also have sparkling, white, red, and rosé wines by the glass and bottles, as well as cocktails and whiskies. And if you've got the munchies, they have tater tots, wings, disco fries, and hot plates of grilled cheese, half-smokes, burgers, and meat pies. Sister establishment downstairs is Birch and Barley. Great atmosphere, very laidback and casual. Bartenders are beer sommeliers/aficionados and can turn any skeptic into an enthusiast. If you're looking for a good bar in DC (with the largest selection of craft beers), ChurchKey is highly recommended.
