We started SDW following a 2 week holiday to India as there was no one effectively conducting a focussed and continuous Animal Birth Control program and trying to encourage better relationships with the human and animal communities. After many heart-breaking experiences we began the organisation wit

It's always good to get out the office and sometimes I can't resist the lure of driving around the Cotswolds testing out new cars. This week I spent some time at the launch of several new motors fr...

Great sports facilities. Well maintained grounds

A hugely ambitious leisure centre in an excellent location close to the junction of the M40 in Wycombe. I visited this centre for its inaugural Long Course (50m) swimming gala and was very impressed with the facilities. The swimming pool is one of the few 50m pools in the country and is very light and airy. The other leisure facilities looked good too, including the climbing wall, a huge gym that can be divided into three separate areas and squash courts. Parking in the adjacent multistorey car park was very reasonably priced (£1 for 4 hours) and it's great to have a Waitrose on site too where you can do your shopping etc. A highly recommended facility.

Nice screen, relaxing environment, extremely comfortable seats with plenty of leg room so you don't have to get up to let other people past

Really great food. We had a Vegetarian Meze for starter followed by the Moussaka. Tasted delicious. Prices are very reasonable, the place is classy and the atmosphere is really good. Good place to go with family or just with a partner.

This is a pub with a nice feel, reasonable food and good real ales (albeit fairly pricey for this suburban location I feel). Staff are generally friendly and helpful too. The only thing I would say is that every time I have been there recently, they have had several tables reserved which are invariably left empty. Last Friday a friend and I were asked to move from one of the six reserved tables because there was a party coming in at 7.30pm. At nearly 9pm when we left there were only 5 people around the six reserved tables which seems a bit ridiculous. This has actually happened on the last two or three occasions we have been to the pub.

Unbelievably rude and condescending staff, especially the management. Always trying to upsell you in order to make more money for their business whether you need the service or not. I was repeatedly told that I needed to pay extra to send an item recorded because if it went missing I wouldn't be entitled to ANY compensation. This is clearly not true as you are entitled up to £20 compensation 'where evidence of posting and evidence of value can be provided'. Even though the item I was sending was more than £20 I was categorically told that I wouldn't get ANY compensation with proof of postage unless I paid extra to send it recorded delivery.
