We’ve been working hard on improving the InfoBurst user interface (UI) for build 128.  We’re so excited about what we have in the pipe that we decided to show you a little early some of the enhancements we already have done in our next InfoBurst Hangout.

We’ve done a redesign on the multicolumn list UI.  This next one will require less clicks to modify the multicolumn list, and make it easier to input data. We also hope to add in the ability to sort columns and keep the data sorted as you add in new values! Also we’ve done some enhancements to our object filtering used throughout the user interface as well as some neat new quick toggle options for all documents in a burst. And the last enhancement that we want to show you is to both the database connection and XDC UIs. Values that are used to test both database queries and cache queries will be retained while you are working on them.  This means you’ll be able to tweak your queries and not have to retype in your test values for your parameters!

Let's chat about anything InfoBurst UI related. From debugging issues, workflow questions or improvements, and event what's coming next in the UI.  Basically anything you'd like.  Got ideas for the UI? Got a user voice enhancement ticket you want to go more in depth on what you are looking for? We can do that.

When good intensions go completely right out the window.
Upon moving, we decided to cancel #Comcast  and switch to a smaller provider, Astound (we are fortunate in that we even have a choice in our area). The following is the tail-end of an almost 20 minute call that will go down in my mind as the most frustrating customer service experience of my life.

Been monkeying around with #ApacheFlex bug fixing.  Once you get settled in, it goes pretty darn well. Mustella regression tests help keep my sanity for sure :)

Time for a bit of super geeky. This is one of the main reasons why I got into computing, and at the same time chose programming. It's circuits! This video explains quite simply how hard wired circuits perform math by using dominos. So for the super geeky to the non, I hope you all enjoy the video :D

As a side note.  I chose programming because it's basically a "meta" way of building logic as you would by stringing together the various logical gates (http://www.ee.surrey.ac.uk/Projects/Labview/gatesfunc/index.html#notgate). Except with programming you can quickly build and rebuild you logic just by changing the code rather than re-soldering your circuits :)

Creativity meets pushing past norms. Fairly certain these two don't even know the box exists. Gotta love it!

So what are the "good" social media sites for getting your company (or your own) product out there?  Makes me wonder if each social network becomes it's own echo chamber.
