Love this post...honest assessment of the challenges of SEO in todays environment.
If you’ve just received an unnatural links warning or have been hit with a link-related penalty (or totally shafted by the latest algorithm update), should you expand the scope of your attempted fix beyond links? Absolutely, and here’s why: I’ve Never Seen A Link-Penalized Site That Had Nothing Else Wrong Even if it’s something small, […]

Chris Marentis is the Founder and CEO of Surefire Social
Introduction

Chris Marentis is a passionate entrepreneur and innovator determined to leave a legacy bigger than himself. Chris grew up in an entrepreneurial family with a father who owned a home contracting HVAC business.

When traditional media was disrupted by the online world, empowering consumers to rely less on sales people and advertisements to make decisions, large companies with big budgets could afford to play the game, but the local entrepreneur, like Chris’s father was left behind.

This disadvantage inspired Chris to write Surefire Social: the guide for local SMB’s to

compete in the digital world. Chris was invited to speak at events and demand grew for ways to implement his ideas. Chris turned his vision into a reality when he started Surefire Social in 2009. Feedback was strong. Businesses began asking for help implementing their digital marketing and Surefire evolved into a SaaS and services business. The company’s dramatic growth came with only 1-2 sales people at any given time and a limited marketing budget, thanks to referrals from rabidly loyal clients.

The company’s latest innovation Surepulse, an SMB’s Digital CMO, provides data insights and competitive tactics to marketing novices, giving them complete control over their online marketing activities.

I have to say this pains me to do this; and I have never written a negative review online. However I am still in shock at the fact Mercedes Benz Financial Service has been overbilling us significantly over the last year until we caught it (to the tune of a year in advance). I would have even accepted that if they would have been more cooperative/proactive in resolving the situation. Instead, Mercedes Benz Corp. and the dealership, Mercedes Benz of Tysons Corner have been incredibly difficult to deal with fixing the situation. Instead they blamed us for not catching their error. At first they would not offer to give us our money back that they overbilled, they just wanted us to ride out the lease being paid off a year in advance. I have been buying Mercedes Benz cars from this location since 1998. When it was HBL, I felt we had a very strong personal relationship with the dealership and people their and an issue like this would have been handled quickly and with us being raving fans. It is so disappointing to see Penske Group destroy this dealership and it's relationship with long standing customers. What separates one business from another is great customer service. If you are set on buying a Mercedes Benz (be careful of your lease payments; they are not watching your back), do it at another dealership. You have lots of choices in the DC Metro area.

Had dinner there on Friday evening and it was an authentic Little Italy experience. First time here and I would go back. As a former New Yorker, I have a craving for great Italian and this did not disappoint. Service was excellent, baked clams were out of this world good and our pasta/veal dishes were strong. If you are looking for a Little Italy experience, this is a great place to start.

Great place for lunch...more than pizza. The pizza is very solid, hero's are good and salads are very good. Parking is tough in that shopping plaza during lunch....that is the only downside.
