Re: Sanders and Clinton: I thought that the ACA/ObamaCare was only a stopgap towards single-prayer/universal healthcare. So what's Hillary talking about? Bernie's got it right, to me, right?

I am very happy to have been a part of this. To be honest, being on this panel checks off an item at the top of my bucket list!

Episode 15 of the For Immediate Release podcast is now available featuring panelists +Chris Abraham, +Joseph Thornley, and +Lynette Young.

http://firpodcastnetwork.com/fir-15/

This week's topics include:

* The U.S. Federal Trade Commission has issued explicit new guidance on native advertising. Will this help or hinder the growth of the category?
* Edelman is closing in on a $1 billion year as it wraps ups its more than year-long restructuring. Does the new structure make sense? Should other agencies follow suit?
* In 2013, Congress passed legislation that effectively ended the ban on Radio Free Europe and Voice of America broadcasting within the U.S., a prohibition that went back to the 1940s. Have PR practitioners benefitted?
* Most organizations don’t recognize the downsides to workplace collaboration. How can communicators help prevent or overcome these issues?
* Share buttons are routine website acourtements, but they can cause significant problems. Do we fix them or ditch them?
* Dan York’s Technology Report covers the malware attack on Hyatt, the introduction of adblocking to ASUS’ default browser, and the war of words between Medium founder Ev Williams and blogging pioneer Dave Winer (including a discussion by the panel)

A couple Sundays ago I met up with Joseph Thornley, Lynette Young, and Shel Holtz on video Skype to record episode 15 of Shel’s industry-trusted and industry-respected PR podcast, For Immediate Release, AKA the FIR Podcast. Out of thin air, and fulfilling a dream, Shel asked me if I might be willing to join a hand-picked panel of PR professionals and I jumped on it.

As of Monday, January 4, it looks like I will serve my first week in the cult of CrossFit. I have been thinking about joining CrossFit for a while because I am already interested in kettlebells and Concept2 Indoor Rowers and some of my best friends have transformed their lives through a commitment to CrossFit. …

Hey +Michael R. Bernstein and the #zope and #plone communities: I used Plone back in 1999-2002 and loved it then and want to try using it again for my personal site again circa 2015. Is there a cheap-but-good hosting solution just so I can get started? It'll just be a resume/consulting/resume/experience site. There are so many to choose from and so few. It's not like just installing WordPress or Drupal from cPanel. Thanks in advance.

Both high-end and foodie-wowing while also being down-to-earth. I had an amazing dining experience with my girlfriend. She doesn't eat red meat but there was plenty choice for her, too. The deserts were to die for, especially a pastry called the Paris–Brest. I am old family friends with the founders, Sarah Obraitis -- I went to college with her brother -- but please don't let that get in the way of this positive review.

It's the only place in the Metro DC area I would use to maintain, fix, repair, and restore my 1995 BMW K1100LT touring motorcycle, and Khanh Nguyen is the only mechanic I would trust her with. He's "my mechanic." I'll never get any other bike besides a BMW and I'll never use another mechanic besides EUBMW. I have been using him since 2013.

Fantastic place to browse and buy bikes -- and receive service under warranty. The people are charming but they have their hands full. They're best at high-end and new bikes. Leave the old and restored bikes to other shops like Crossroads Cycle or EUBMW.

The best pho in the US. Cafeteria dining. Cash only. I get the number 14 and get the beef raw. It cooks in the soup. I also get the young coconut water. With slices of coconut. Perfect. Number 14 has bible tripe. There are many other items on the menu.
