It is essential that all social landlords and their tenants have a clear, intelligible, enforceable and up to date tenancy agreement. All agreements need to be comprehensible and appropriate for every tenant’s circumstances so its vital providers are offering the right type of agreement and assessing each resident individual support needs.

This one day event has been designed to help housing management staff and their managers thoroughly understand the finer details of their tenancy agreements to ensure those are managed effectively and efficiently. Sessions throughout the day will focus on the changes that have taken place over the last few years including the introduction of flexible tenancies in the Localism Act and further information on the variety of agreements now available for residents including affordable rents, fixed term tenancies and market rents.
