A lot of dog owners know intellectually that they need to change their bad habits, but are they actually able to? Find out if this owner can on the second to last season two episode of #Cesar911, this Friday at 9/8c, only on Nat Geo WILD!

No they can't because they insist on treating dogs as humans.

Shout out to my good friend Marco Borges, founder of 22-Days Nutrition (he sent me this delicious vegan meal)! If you're looking for a healthier lifestyle, I recommend you check out his site, and his new book "The 22-Day Revolution," with a foreward by Beyoncé. http://cesar.mn/2wFW

It may seem like the end of the world, but a dog bite can be a one-time, accidental event. Here are five reasons that a dog may bite: http://cesar.mn/2tLP #MyDogBitMe

My dogs will drop their favorite food into my hand if I tell them to...
I like to creep up on them when they aren't paying attention, and scare them, kind of like a cat (:
Only once did this trigger an almost bite; my male turned around with an open mouth. Now they know it is me, and have heightened their hearing..

Your dog’s unreleased energy results in her becoming fixated on or obsessed with something (e.g. a frisbee or a ball). A fixation is wasted energy. She needs to channel her energy into something (like carrying a backpack or another job/activity) in order to be balanced and calm-submissive.

I find that owners often don’t recognize symptoms of anxiety in their dogs. An owner wakes up, brushes his teeth, drinks a cup of coffee, and makes breakfast—and all the while his dog is in the background, following him room to room, pacing. The owner thinks, “Oh she just loves to be with me she has to make sure I’m fine all the time.” Your dog is showing you not how much she loves you, but how anxious she is.

Amazing idea: +Cesar Millan , you should have a contest, or an entry of some sort, and the winner will get a pair of LandRollers! You use them all the time in your shows, and you can tell your audience all about how great these skates are! I believe that that is a good idea...

Cesar's Autobiography:
I was born in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico, and grew up working with animals on my grandfather's farm. Because of my natural way with dogs, they would follow me everywhere. Other kids would bully me and call me el perrero — “dog boy.”

I crossed the border into the US at 21, eventually getting a job as a dog groomer and walker. After the LA Times ran a profile of me, the guy walking thirty or forty dogs off leash, a number of production companies approached me to develop a TV show. This eventually became “Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan,” which ran from 2004 until 2012.

I opened my Dog Psychology Center in downtown LA in 1999. Today, the much larger DPC is located in the hills of Santa Clarita.  In 2012, I began a training program for dog owners and trainers, "Training Cesar's Way." We offer two courses, the five-day" Fundamentals of Dog Behavior and Training I" which I personally teach. And we offer six-week "Training Clinics" at the DPC for those who live Los Angeles.

I started the Cesar Millan Foundation on Valentine’s Day, 2007, and it, too, continues to thrive. Our mission is to create and deliver community humane education programs and promote animal welfare by supporting the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of abused and abandoned dogs, as well as by promoting spay and neuter programs world wide.

In January 2013, my new show “Leader of the Pack” premiered and my sixth book, “Cesar Millan’s Short Guide to a Happy Dog,” was published.

My newest series, "Cesar 911" premiered on March 7, 2014 on Nat Geo WILD and became the network's second-highest rated series in history. I'm currently in production for season two of "Cesar 911".

I hope that I can be an inspiration to everyone out there who is trying to live their dream.
