Every summer, grizzly bears count on the salmon migration in Brooks Falls, Katmai National Park, Alaska. Wildlife Conservation Society’s Jonathan Slaght caught this bear towards the end of the run: http://bit.ly/15CwaIE #WCSWildView

Have you visited our new grizzly bears, Betty and Veronica yet?
During the peak salmon run, dozens of grizzly bears famously crowd these falls to gorge on the vulnerable and protein-rich fish. –Jonathan C. Slaght. Photo by ©Jonathan C. Slaght.

Say hello to Betty and Veronica – two brown bears that are coming to the zoo. At the moment, they’re up in the Bronx but soon they’ll be switching boroughs and heading to Manhattan. http://nyti.ms/1wYdf3t

Loved a zoo in the city. It was easily walkable and we enjoyed all of the animals. We had a bonus viewing of the 4-D movie and it was amazing. We also liked the petting zoo. A great way to spend a couple of hours.

One of several zoos in the city, this has always been my favorite. It's a small zoo, and has no where close to the number of animals of the Bronx Zoo, but its set up is simple and aesthetically pleasing. You can get around in just a couple of hours and have plenty of time to enjoy the park.

Great little green zoo in the middle of the concrete jungle. We never miss a chance to either spend 20 min or 2 hours there. So worth buying the family yearly pass. If you live in NY.

Great small zoo with a decent variety of animals. Perfect for smaller children. Entry fee is inexpensive. Don't miss the sea lion feeding!

It was good but don't expect loads of animals! The mo keys and sea lions were good however and it's convenient located. It's a fair price and I would say worth a visit as something different to do whilst in new York

Love this place. The best part is the it's small. They have a good amount of animals and I've seen them all almost every time I have gone. The animals are pretty good at staying visible.

Great zoo right in the middle of Manhattan. It is very small but the monkeys and the seals really make it great. It can be fun for families or a cute date idea. It really isn't a full day activity, and can't be compared to the Bronx Zoo, but with Central Park surrounding it, you can make a full day out of the park and the zoo. I would definitely suggest it if you haven't been before.

Quaint little zoo! Not a ton of animals but what can you expect from a zoo that's inside a city park!! We had a fun time and would most definitely do it again.
