High-end resort with refined rooms, free Wi-Fi & fine dining, plus 3 golf courses & a spa.- Google
"Outstanding facilities, staff and service and the food was delicious!"
"Some say the rooms are a bit dated but I think it's just the choice of decor."

The Celtic Manor Resort offers various luxurious services. As a guest staying for 3 nights I can say I have fully enjoyed my experience here. The resort itself is well placed within the Welsh countryside and offers great views no matter which room you are staying in. The family rooms we stayed in had all the commodities you would expect, a comfy bed, spacious bathroom and a balcony. The service provided was of a very high standard at all times no matter which restaurant we stayed in (there are about 7), and the staff were always happy to help with whatever we needed. I will add that the iron provided was broken and leaked water upon use, and you are not allowed to smoke on the balconies - these would be my only complaints. Overall a very good stay, particularly if you like to play golf.

Went on New Year’s Eve - loved the stay, the pool, and the breakfast. Didn't love the walk down to the Manor House for lunch / afternoon tea as it's a 15 minute walk and I have trouble with the stairs. Also, they were stingy on checking out was 11am on New Year’s Day. I would come again though.

An absolutely beautiful hotel with fantastic views and a whole range of activities and services. The hotel reception is like no other UK hotel I've seen and so is the swimming pool. A really special place to stay.

Went for a works Christmas party. The place is huge. I liken it to a cruise ship inside. Swimming pools gyms an ice rink, (I assume temporary for christmas) and I think 7 restaurants and aerial assault course and of course the golf course. Food was really nice. Had a great evening. Would go again.

After we checked in we discovered our room only had one bath towel, a hand towel was being used for a bath mat, and the light on the desk doesn't work. We called housekeeping and waited nearly five minutes for them to answer the call, but they hung up without answering. We rang the service manager, who apologized, and eventually resolved the problem with the towels. But seriously, why are we having these issues? Then later that evening, while having a coffee downstairs at around 10:00 P.M., the staff were dropping tables and disturbing the peace. It wasn't just once, either. By the fourth time, I reached the limit of my patience, abandoned our table and retired to our room. I wouldn't recommend the hotel, and will not stay again. Hordes of ill behaved children are off-putting too, but that is not the fault of the hotel.

Went with the family to the Winter Wonderland this g that Celtic Manor run. The actual event was good and the kids enjoyed it. However there were a few issues. We had gone at "peak" time according to the ticket and so we paid £16 for each child, this was fine as we planned to make a bit of a day out of it with the ice skating and the winter snacks (hot dogs/hot chocolate). Our slot was 1:45. After we had gone through the experience we then discovered thqt everything else was closed until 3pm. So we waited, ice rink or bratwurst standstill wasn't open by the time we left at 3:45. Why was I charged peak prices if nothing was open?!

First time at the Celtic Manor, really enjoyed the spa treatment and the resort as a whole is an incredible place with loads to do. Staff are very polite and food was great too, will certainly return. Shame Welsh weather can be so wet or this place would be even more popular.

Went for New Years Eve meal. Really nice food as usual. Cocktails tasty. Just a shame the menu for them has got smaller.
