Our stay in a cottage at Celtic Haven was brilliant - from the location to the staff and facilities. It was a real 'home from home' environment and we especially enjoyed the incredible scenery, food at the onsite restaurant (which was fantastic value for money) and our lovely cosy and clean cottage which was just charming. We will definitely be coming back!

Stayed here for a second time (22-26 April 2013) and once again had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Our accommodation (The Parlour) was smaller than last year’s (Oyster Catchers) but in no way did this detract from it – it was just perfect for two old biddies and a dog. Gerrie made us feel most welcome on arrival and The Waves’ staff were more than helpful when we couldn’t have our evening meal as planned – which, when we did manage to have it, was just superb. I even took advantage of early morning swims in the pool and was sooo glad that I had the pool to myself because I hadn’t swum for about eight years so was rather rusty – not at all elegant!!! All the staff we met couldn’t have been more helpful – such a plus when one is away from home. As with our holiday in Wales last year – the weather was Welsh!!! Not a lot can be done about that but we did find some lovely beaches for Sam the Lab to enjoy his holiday. Look out Wales – we’ll be back!!! My sister and I booked through Groupon for a three night stay from 23 April. On 26 April we added another night because we just couldn't bear to leave!! The accommodation was 'top notch' and the Waves Italian Restaurant was lovely. I didn't quite fancy the veggie options so the chef prepared a very tasty ratatoullie with pasta for me - wonderful. The girls on reception were extremely helpful in trying to find a photography shop who could supply me with a special battery for my camera (duh, left mine at home). The accommodation (Oyster Catchers) was better than we had expected - so homely, even the radio was playing on arrival!! Once we've saved up enough (or better still manage to get another Grouon offer) - we'll be back. Next time we'd like a smidge more sun though pretty please. Oh and if you're thinking of going, a must see place is Carew Castle - even the rain didn't spoil it for us.

We have been going to this spa for a number of years - more out of habit than anything and over the years I have been quite disappointed with the quality of the spa facilities. However, we have had good treatments there. However when we were charged a £5 charge at the end of the day for of all things the robles!! We challenged them and said we had not been told about this and they refused to waive it. We have been going for six years each holiday and I felt this was churlish. Even writing to the General manager made no difference. So given that there are lots of spas in the areas and all of them cheaper and nicer, this is the last time I or my six friends will use this facility. On the day we were there was only 1 other pair using the facility. Good will in this day and age is worth a lot!!

Being a locally-based tennis club, we regularly make use of Celtic Haven's all-weather tennis courts and indoor fitness suite. The facilities are ideal for us and the staff are always very friendly and helpful.
We are so impressed with Heatherton we offer the Treetops Trail and credit passes as part of our special deal breaks at Celtic Haven - guests of all ages love it there!
