Mr Allen gave us a very informative tour today. I had a little difficult time to catch British English but learned a lot. It's worth a try!

Great site with a rich history as one of England's most iconic landmarks and a location that plays a huge role in the Christian faith even to this day. Standing for over 1000 years it is still used for royal baptism's and often used for feast days and celebrations by local religious schools. It is also a place of pilgrimage where mass is often held and most of the grounds is open to the public with friendly staff to help you understand the history and significance of every little carving, statue and arch in the building. It is a remarkable and beautiful place to visit year round and I would highly recommend it.

Great when it's free. It costs about £12 per person to have a look around which is too much. But sometimes it is free to wander around the grounds. If you get the opportunity to look around for free then I would say take it, you wont be disappointed.

One of the most beautiful cathedrals in the UK if not Europe. Steeped in history from the stained glass windows to the catacombs below.

Amazing building full of history. A little pricey to get in but it all goes to a good cause. I would recommend a tour to get the most out of it.

A stunning place. Full of beauty and history. A little costly now but well worth a visit with a camera or sketchbook. When working for a TV station here one day, I stood on Prince Charles's foot. Sorry again Charlie.

There's not much to say that hasn't already been said. A breathtaking masterpiece with so much history. The next 18 months will involve immense refurbishment; it's exciting times.

An absolutely beautiful and stunning cathedral. Amazing stainglass. Great history. Stunning chapels under the main church. Very peaceful place to sit. Beautiful walk in the grounds around the church. Unfortunately they have and entry fee. But it is free entry on Sundays for service. The ticket is valid for a whole year.
