Campbell University is a private institution of higher education that enrolls more than 6,200 students, including 4,800 undergraduate and graduate students on its main campus in Buies Creek, which is located in the heart of North Carolina and provides our students an ideal location to pursue a degree.
About our academic programs
Our mission is to graduate students with exemplary academic and professional skills who are prepared for purposeful lives and meaningful service, within a Christian environment. Our attentive faculty and emphasis on hands-on learning will ensure that students are well prepared for their future academic or professional careers. With more than 100 undergraduate majors, tracks, and concentrations and six graduate and professional schools, Campbell offers students a wide range of academic options and a quality education. We currently have five doctorate professional degrees in divinity, law, osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, and physical therapy, making us one of only three private universities in North Carolina to achieve the highest level of accreditation (Level VI) from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
About our community
Our main campus is located in the small community of Buies Creek, in rural Harnett County, N.C. Here, students experience a small-town atmosphere that fosters strong bonds and an indomitable community spirit among our students, faculty, and staff. At the same time, we’re part of the Research Triangle Region, a nexus of businesses, educational institutions, and governmental organizations that repeatedly places our region on the lists of the best places to live and work in the U.S. Our proximity to this epicenter of innovation allows our students to gain real-world experiences and to develop professional contacts that give them a competitive advantage when they graduate.
In addition to the main campus in Buies Creek, Campbell has campuses in Raleigh and the Research Triangle Park and on the Army base at Fort Bragg and the Marine Corps base at Camp Lejeune. We also maintain a cooperative degree program with Tunku Abdul Rahman College (TARC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Whether studying in Buies Creek or on an extended campus, Campbell students will be part of a welcoming and dynamic community that values faith, service, and learning.
