We're delighted to be welcoming Armstrong Solicitors to Bruntwood as they relocate to The Plaza in Liverpool, doubling the size of its current office and taking over 22,000 sq ft of space.
After undertaking a sustained period of refurbishment at The Plaza since acquiring the building in 2007, this latest letting takes the total occupancy to more than 95%.

Bruntwood is proud to be among the 1300 businesses that have signed the Remain IN campaign letter published in The Times today.

"I believe that a decision for the UK to exit the EU now could be far more damaging for the great cities of the North and Midlands than the recent financially led recession. Brexit aside, the outlook has never been stronger for these cities, however the underlying economy is still very fragile and the inevitable halt in investment could set us back a decade at a time when we would otherwise be powering ahead. The likely polarisation of the political parties post Brexit would only compound this. Instead, I would like to see the UK championing the views of the growing body of citizens across the continent that want radical reform of the EU and leading this from within. If the current growing movement for change leads to nothing and the economic conditions are right then I could be in favour of an exit in a decade or so, but definitely not now. ".

It's been six months since we started work on the City House redevelopment in Leeds city centre. We recently caught up with the Head of Building and Construction for Leeds, Nathan Green, to find out what's been happening on-site since last October, as well as what we can expect to see occurring over the coming months.
When complete, the building is set to be a new platform for Leeds and will be one of the most modern workspaces in the city.

Yesterday we supported the City of Trees movement, planting over 250 trees, alongside some of our key business partners, as part of this year's Earth Day. http://bit.ly/1Qs6rSS

We spent yesterday morning, in the glorious sunshine, with our key partners in Manchester to plant a tree for the City of Trees movement.

Some came in their three piece suits, some brought along their pets and we were also joined by our youngest ever tree planter! Everyone joined in to plant 250 trees at Parkway Playing Fields in Chorlton.

The prize for the most trees planted by one person went to Andrew Maxwell from Amspec who planted 15 trees in an hour!

Last Christmas, we made a commitment to plant a tree for each of our key partners in Manchester as a Christmas gift. The planting supported the City of Trees movement, which aims to plant a tree for every man, woman and child in Greater Manchester over the next two decades.

With nine offices across the UK, Pegasus chose our Portland Street offices as their Manchester city centre base. We spoke to them to find out how they made their way from a serviced office to a space they could truly call their own.
