Hello A few months ago, I bought a product from your online store. I wanted to drop you a note and tell you my experience online was very positive and my product arrived very quickly. This morning I was thinking and writing about companies I enjoy dealing with and your company came to mind. I have worked with other companies in the past but to be honest, you guys are at the top of my list. I have been involved with photography for years. And now I am involved in video work. You guys seem to cover it all but most of all, the online shopping experience was great. So nice to see. I live in Dawson Creek,BC and work all over the world. Nice to know I can count on Broadway in Vancouver. Cheers Gordon Currie President Eldoren Consulting Inc.

No such store worse than this one. Sales are careless and won't say sorry when they did wrong. What was happen was I went this store for some mirrorless camera (Sony NEX_7). First package they gave me don't have the battery!!, so they exchanged that with another box with battery. ( I feel they did me a big favor by gave me a battery for "FREE") When I went home I relaized there was a wrong battery charge in the box which is useless to my camera. (I'm so curious how they managed to have multiple stores with mess management) So, I went back to that store again with wrong battery charge, and no single sorry for the mess they did. What a services!!!. BTW, the camera bag I brought from them was missing the carrying strap. So, if you need buy something from this store, make sure you have everything from the package, they could take anything extra out and not let you know until you find out. Very bad shopping experience with Broadway Camera. I have to modify their business statement here. "We take away a variety of camera battery, camera parts, camera accessories and anything you won't notice from your purchase. At our 1055 W Broadway location we even enforced that rule to the max. Thanks for visting us"

We called in advance to get the prices, then drove over an hour including an international border crossing. When we arrived, the sales person admitted that he had lied and did not have one of the lenses that we had specifically asked about in stock. We also had to point out that the camera body kit was lacking a battery. He said that we would have to come back another time {over 2 hours round trip} to pick up the battery. Eventually he produced a battery. He also tried the bait and switch technique, suggesting a different lens entirely than the ones we were looking for. He then insulted our intelligence by suggesting this gear was not suited for the use we intended..... he was entirely wrong on this. Meanwhile the salesman takes a couple phone calls, asking us to just wait. Eventually we came to an agreement on the gear, but we were far from done. First we had to listen to personal stories about the salesman's family, spiced with dark language. When it came time to pay he had to run the card twice, using different methods. To make a long story short, it took about 90 minutes to get out of the store after running the card. We had to call the card company ourselves and had 5 different people from the card company explain to the salesman that the charges had gone through. He still did not want us to leave with the gear. Avoid this store at all cost!

Worked here for a couple years- manager Milan Radovanovic tried to fire me and lied to the government. Government awarded me EI status as they didn't have the right to fire me. Very unprofessional.

I have shopped at Broadway Camera a few times and have always had a good experience. The last time I made a purchase at the store it was just before the festival of lights. The Salesman, Harry, explained to me how to take pictures of fireworks. I needed a chord to release the shutter, he offered me both the name brand and a cheaper option. He also took time to show me some of his shots of fireworks and explained to me how he captured the shots. This is a great store with knowledgeable and friendly staff.

I walked into Broadway camera and had to ask for help from the 3 sales reps milling around behind the counter. I am usually disappointed when I need to do that for starters. I was then asked about a camera strap but the clerk suggested a regular camera strap and didn't even ask what I needed. So I had to tell him I was looking specifically for a sling camera strap at which point he walked over and suggested two straps. One was $15 more than the other and when I asked what the difference was he actually tried to suggest that the clip was more robust on the more expensive one. However when I opened the box to look at the product inside I realized that those clips were exactly same. I do not appreciate the sales reps trying to misrepresent the product to get me to spend more money. He was also unable to help me with the request for a flash diffuser. So I bought the camera strap and left promising myself that I would not return to Broadway camera. One other small detail was the sales rep was snorting a lot and spitting into a small tissue. I had to wash my hands fairly thoroughly after I left the store not really sure what the condition of his illness was. My feeling if you are in sales & facing the customers and you're sick you should likely just stay home.
