Jacqueline Gatari Uwamariya, 27, was the only member of her village to survive the 1994 genocide in Rwanda. Today, after receiving assistance from the Rwanda Red Cross, she is a home owner, store keeper, and landlord, with strong hopes for a bright future.

Helping people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are.
Introduction

We are a volunteer-led humanitarian organisation that helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are.

We enable vulnerable people at home and overseas to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their own communities.
