Parents and staff at the school are up in arms about the crackdown.

In today's talking point The Argus asks: To what extent should headteachers crackdown on uniform and other rule breaking by pupils? What do you think should be done to improve pupil behaviour?

We've already had reaction in our web comments from both sides of the argument.

Good. It's about time someone took a stronger approach with unruly children and their parents. There is too much of this "you can't touch me" attitude from children today.
