+BikeRadar Guys you need to change the name of the 'Shiny bikes and new gear' section as more people are posting their bloody motorbikes and you can't blame them .

Maybe 'Shiny bicycles and new gear' !!!

+Jon Woodhouse Sounds interesting, I myself have a bike costing £3K, but I also have other cheaper bikes which can be just as much fun. It would be great to see videos of maximum "bang for your buck" bikes. Some cheaper bikes can really perform by just upgrading forks etc.

+WunderBread You're right. First there was/is Shimano where lots were sceptical now almost a standard on mid to high range bikes. Then Campy followed now Sram has jumped them all like a game of leap frog and produces wireless. I must admit I do like the wireless but as with the initial wired Shimanos I am skeptical. I'm sure I will be proved wrong. When proven reliable i will have it.

What ?!!! This is what you're supposed to do . In fact if you don't bed them in you won't have any power . New rotors and pads have to be pressed hard against each other in order to create a 'coating'   on the rotor and slightly roughen the pads  .  With rim brakes  you'll notice the rims have slight lines on them for grip (although not enough) but with rotors you don't (holes and lines are for heat dissipation) .
Try bedding in carbon rotors and then you'll know the difficulty and time consuming bedding in process .
