But of course - a recent study in Virginia found that people who bike (or walk) to work were by far the most satisfied with their commute: http://ow.ly/Nrej301wMPV When was the last time that you rode in?

Not everyone can give up their car for every trip - but do you think that could be more car-free-ish? Good post from People For Bikes: http://ow.ly/gj5g301Ccwk
Embracing car-free living without ditching the car.

There are a lot of reasons someone might not go car free. The best reason is they just want one, just because they do. That doesn't mean that it may not spend most days parked safely in the garage under a car cover so it doesn't get dirty.

For shot trips, cycling is the best choice, most of the time.

For some trips, cycling is not a viable option.

With the rise of Zipcar and Cars2go there will be a lot of people that will choose the car free option knowing that they access to a car when needed. Some people will still keep a car, just so when the need one it's one they want to drive.

Hills? I ride around them. More miles that way.

I like a nice, tight group, 3-5 or so. 6 is pushing it. Beyond that the group tends to get a bit aggressive.

Do you commute to work by bike at least some days? How is your city's cycling infrastructure compared to this list: http://ow.ly/qMlJ301pBMs
For having the largest percentage of bike commuters and spending the most on new bike infrastructure, these cities are role models for safer cycling in the US
