Encouragement is something you cultivate everyday because Doubt is the enemy of focus. It's also how discouragement creeps in.

Faith thrives in discomfort. Any sense of safety that you could be clinging onto is holding you back from walking in divine purpose, provision and impact. Let it go, trust God. He is the true safety net. #whoosh

This will be a little lengthy, but stick with me..
As the year comes to an end, I want to thank everyone that's supported my music. Every person that went out and downloaded my entire discography, or that at least downloaded a song or two from any of my releases. I wouldn't keep doing this if the music didn't ultimately end up with you. I'm glad to have heard back from folks that found encouragement, hope and meaning from listening to any of these records. Other than making the best music I can, this is really why I do it.

Thank you to every show presenter on Radio & Tv, for hosting me and letting me share music with your listeners & viewers. I've met some of you for the first time this year and you've supported my work the same way as the ones that I go way back with. There are others of you that I haven't met, yet you still gave the music a platform; Thank you.
It's easy to keep thinking of and talking about how much further I could go; better looking download stats (I dream of the day I'll be certified platinum), more bookings for shows, better royalty cheques, more impact with the content message etc and not celebrate how far I've come and how much has come out of it. This is me stopping everything, to do just that.

To everyone that came to watch my friends & I play music, gave a hug, took a gram snap, told me how much of a fan(s) you are, Thank you. You keep me going everyday, in ways I'll never be able to explain or thank you enough for.
To every person who watched, shared and commented on my YouTube videos, thank you.
To everyone who still thinks that Kenyan music isn't worth their time and would rather not support it, I encourage you to look beyond your prejudices and find a talented Kenyan act you may not have heard of. I promise you, they will blow you away. A vibrant and successful industry is also built on the patriotic/loyal support from fans & followers who see the gem in their own. Don't cut them down because they don't match up to (someone) that you compared them to. If you could spend a day in the shoes of an artise to understand what it takes to bring you the music you hear, you might have a better appreciation of them. That may not always be possible, but what will always be, is a change of heart and perspective. Try, even a little.

Finally, congratulations to EVERY artiste who put out new music this year. For pushing hard and forward despite the odds stacked against you, you are He/Sheroes. I'm glad to share every stage and platform with you and you make me so proud! I pray that you succeed beyond your wildest dreams, that you change/touch lives of people that you may never meet and hear about it, that your royalty cheques will make your jaws drop in glee everytime they come in, that your shows will be sold out everytime and that you never have to 'Do anything else apart from music'.

For anyone that's read this post to this point, I'd like to ask that if you're among those who still dont have my music please visit http://www.webimusic.com and download it on the platform that suits you.

Once again, Thank You.
Happy Holidays.

Berlin on my mind. This place was such a wonderful experience earlier this year. "Yes please!" - to going back.

I've got to keep moving forward, even when everything around and inside me keep telling me to quit. I've got to believe that there's good even if I don't see it & that it's coming my way, even if it looks like that will never happen to me.

It's always about the music. My ideal situation is being able to create it, share it and y'all jump in on it. Then we turn up happier 😆. So, come by the shop here http://bit.ly/NewDayWebi 😊
