+Patrick Bergeron Microsoft announced this 2yrs ago, but I work with small businesses and Nonprofits so understand many have limited IT support. If still on xp, reach out to local volunteers or others that may be able to help with a plan.

Windows 7 and 8 may run fine on current equipment.

If you must use XP for now. Work as standard user and not admin. Remove java, update antivirus, use chrome not internet explorer, take care when opening PDF/office documents in email or from web links.

Refurbished but OK windows 7 PC are often $100-$150. Acer chrombook $130-$200.

M2M (machine-to-machine) technology allows networked devices to exchange data and perform actions without human intervention. For example, a remote sensor on a supermarket shelf could transmit data to an inventory management system prompting it to restock an item that is running low. This network of devices that “talk” to each other is also known as “the internet of things” and will play a key role in the “smart home” of tomorrow. #TechTerms
