"If you plan on being up to big things next year, you have to celebrate how you got here. Every turn along the way. Otherwise you'll go into the new year from a place of, “That was wrong. I need to fix it.” Which—spoiler alert—never works." - Jessica Kenny on how to end 2014; Read the full blog here: http://bit.ly/1y8t0ZK

By transforming from within, you'll have awakened the greatest power of all: the power to transform the world. If not you, who? If not here, where? If not now, when?

One of the practices in the world of Baptiste Yoga is that we relate to people as if they are already in their power, whether they're already there or not. If you approach everyone from a generous place - from your own open, truthful heart and with the intention of giving them power - then you create space for everyone around you to also show up in that way.

"It took me 20 years to find my way to being a yoga teacher. At 24, I arrived at yoga as a young sleep-deprived mother with low back issues and no concept of fostering my own growth. I returned to yoga on and off over the course of many years, many children, and many different styles. When I found Baptiste Yoga a few years ago, I also found the foundation of what I now know as my personal GPS: daily practice and self-inquiry." - Linda Fenelon, student and teacher at Baptiste Inspired Studio, Epic Yoga. One of the barriers many of us run up against in ourselves is an avoidance of making commitments that could shift our compass in new directions. When you commit, you create an opening, and into that opening little fragments of light start to filter through. Commit to your intention - be a yes with your full heart.

Like every revolutionary throughout history, you may stumble over rocks in your path that may make you want to give up. But through commitment, those rocks will cease to serve as roadblocks and begin to serve as potential points of new awareness.

Great news! We have opened up our Advanced Art of Assisting programs to allow seasoned practitioners to attend as well. Elevate your practice in 2015! Sign up today: http://bit.ly/1vlYnbT

"It was pouring out of me now, faster than my hand could handle. My hands! I’m grateful for my hands! I gazed down at my sheet of nearly indecipherable words. I knew what they said. More than that: I felt what they said. I became present to how all I needed was provided for me, and then some. What seemed very bleak was now overflowing with goodness. Even more miraculous, I went from plagued with worry to rich in gratitude. In fifteen minutes flat." - Jessica Kenny http://bit.ly/1yheiOb
