The styles mentioned are definitely best aged, especially when they're homebrewed. However, I am concerned there were no mentions of what not to age like IPA's. IPA's can go well above 8%, but are almost always best when fresh.

Thank you captain obvious. However, I would disagree when it comes to stouts, sours, barrel aged, etc. Those beers are best with a little bit of age and wisdom added in. They must not know about those beers.
