The American Airstream - Atlantic Byron Bay
The Atlantic is a pioneer of the glamping experience with its on-site American Airstream Trailer, made for the spontaneous and adventurous traveller. This original silver bullet has been lovingly retrofitted with a striped awning, galley kitchen, dinette and double bed (plus essential mod cons including en-suite with Aveda products, air conditioning and DVD player).
Set in the tropical grounds of the Atlantic next to the lap pool, with access to all the shared areas, this cosy camper (best suited to those under 6ft!) is the ideal holiday hideaway. Park your boards outside and hop out for a surf whenever the mood (and the waves) strike. Perfect for a romantic weekend, it’s also a really neat nook for the solo traveller. It will transport you back to the days of camper van convoys, beach bonfires, postcards and Polaroids. Sounds like your vibe? Pack light and embrace the barefoot Byron lifestyle. #atlanticbyronbay #americanairstream

Day Tripping from the Atlantic Byron Bay
The pilgrimage to the country town of Federal (around 40 minutes drive from Byron Bay) for lunch at Doma is well worth it for rustic, home-style Japanese dishes in a relaxed outdoor setting. Be sure to order the tempura and cone-shaped hand rolls made with organic brown rice.

The Byron Bay Blues Festival starts this Easter weekend 24th March, presenting over 200 international and Australian artists in 5 undercover stages over 5 days. Artists include Jackson Browne, Chain, Tom Jones, Kendrick Lamar and Joe Bonamassa covering contemporary, blues and roots and legends ... just to name a few.
As well as entertainment, there are food stalls to keep your taste buds satisfied with an array of international cuisine and if you need a break in between all of this to stretch out, the market stalls are a place to wander and purchase unique wares.
Cross fingers for some sunshine, otherwise get those gumboots ready.

Sunset Walk - Byron Bay
Leave yourself an hour before sunset to take a walk along Belongil beach, where you’ll meet local dog owners and their pups. On the way back, stop off at The Wreck and take in the drumming circle (Friday – Sunday, sometimes weekdays) where local troupadours and rhythm makers come to drum, dance and shake off the day. #byronbay

Byron Bay's Beaches
Just a short walk from The Atlantic and at the corner of Main Beach, you will find Clarkes Beach, the perfect surf break for beginners and paddle boarders. On a good day with a light south wind it works like a point break for the seasoned surfer. A great spot for swimming and lounging in the sun, you can set up underneath the palm fringes or bring a beach brolly for shade. #byronbay #atlanticbyronbay
