+NFL  #nfldraft   #NFL
The first round of the 2015 NFL Draft is in the books. Tampa Bay did the right thing by taking Jameis Winston No. 1 and Tennessee pulled the trigger on its future leader by taking Marcus Mariota with the No. 2 pick.

Check out which college football teams have the most +NFL Draft picks in the past 10 years. Very interesting results.
#collegefootball   #NFLDraft
A decade is a long time in college football. Dynasties begin and end. Conferences ebb and flow. National champions are crowned and de-throned. Even as the SEC as a conference replaced USC as the sport’s dominant figure over the last decade, the Trojans remained the prominent team for the NFL draft through the last 10 years. The Trojans have churned out more NFL Draft picks in the last 10 cycles than any other team, despite the SEC’s status as the...

Sure, you know about Winston and Mariota. But what about the other QBs in this year's NFL Draft?
#NFLDraft   #NFL   #Quarterbacks
It's the most important position on the field and Super Bowls aren't won without them. The quarterback has become the star of the biggest sport in American culture. It's why 12 of the last 16 NFL Drafts have started with a signal-caller.  Yet, the two starting quarterbacks in last year's Super Bowl weren't highly touted NFL Draft prospects, as Tom Brady was a sixth-round pick and Russell Wilson was a third-round selection.

I like the UCLA QB. Great leadership also. I hope we don't screw this draft up. We need a QB, WR first...not to start but to get ready...I don't want to go through another Cassel period while tying to replace Smith when he is finish leading the club...

Who has the best college football town in the Big 12?
#Big12   #collegefootball
The old saying “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” couldn’t be more true when it comes to ranking college towns. Do you prefer larger metropolitan areas? Do you enjoy the isolated peace and quiet of a quaint small town? Cost of living, nightlife, food, culture, weather, surrounding geography and more go into evaluating a city.

Cincinnati Reds manager Bryan Price had an epic rant. Epic!
#CincinnatiReds   #MLB
Cincinnati Reds manager Bryan Price secured a spot among great managerial rants in baseball history with an expletive-filled tirade with reporters after Monday’s 6-1 win over the Brewers. Responding to a question from C. Trent Rosencrans of the Cincinnati Enquirer on the status of All-Star catcher Devin Mesoraco, Price lit into accurate reports about roster moves concerning his team.

We're handing out grades. How did your favorite +NFL team do in last night's draft?
#nfldraft   #NFL
Until the new crop of NFL first-rounders hits the field, grading the first round of the NFL Draft is just educated guesswork. Having said that, fans in Tampa Bay and Tennessee should be brimming with excitement as they welcome new starting quarterbacks. Others are left scratching their heads. Below are four different grades for the 32 first-round picks in the 2015 NFL Draft: A: Franchise-changing selection. A great value at key position of need.

Here are the best QBs in the ACC.
#collegefootball   #ACC
The ACC may not have a playoff contender with Florida State and Clemson each losing several key pieces off last season’s team, but this league will be intriguing with a solid group of quarterbacks returning to the conference in 2015. Clemson’s Deshaun Watson projects as the top passer in the ACC this season, as the talented sophomore is set to take control of a high-powered offense after shining in limited action last year.

Al Golden has one of the most talented rosters in the ACC with the Miami Hurricanes. But will it be enough?
#MiamiHurricanes   #collegefootball   #schedules
Miami hasn't been the big dog on the block in the ACC for more than a decade.  But it doesn't mean that Al Golden doesn't have one of the most talented rosters in the ACC, as well as a rising star under center in Brad Kaaya.

Nice job +Ohio State Buckeyes!
Some day a college football program is going to hit six figures in attendance — for a spring game. Ohio State came 609 fans short of the 100,000 mark Saturday when it drew what is presumed to be a record for spring game attendance.
