10 Coaching Candidates to Replace Donnie Tyndall at Tennessee.
#TennesseeVols   #basketball   #DonnieTyndall
Tennessee needs a coach ... again. The coaching turmoil with Tennessee’s football and men’s basketball continued Friday with the firing if basketball coach Donnie Tyndall after one season. Only months after his arrival at Tennessee, Tyndall faced an NCAA investigation stemming from allegations at his previous stop at Southern Miss. Tyndall is likely to face NCAA sanctions related to academic misconduct and impermissible financial aid to players a...

Can the Mountaineers stop the Wildcats' run for perfection? Here's our preview and prediction.
#MarchMadness   #kentuckywildcats   #WVU
Sooner or later, the debate of Kentucky’s greatest team will become a major topic. If this year’s team goes 40-0, the debate might not last long. There’s also the 1995-96 Untouchables or 2012 national championship team or the first title team in 1948. One team that might get shortchanged is 2010, a team that featured NBA All-Stars John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins, plus pros Eric Bledsoe and Patrick Patterson. That team was done in by guys named Da’...

Things are looking up for these five +MLB teams in 2015.
#MLB   #baseball
Half of the MLB teams finished with a losing record in 2014. Of these 15 teams, which are in the best position to experience better results on the diamond this season? Preseason hope is never a guarantee of success once the games that count begin, but fans of these five teams have plenty of reasons to be excited with Opening Day just around the corner.

Prepare to be amazed by these +NCAA Men's Basketball March Madness stats.
#marchmadness2015   #basketball
The first weekend of the NCAA Tournament is over, and in some ways there are relatively few surprises. In a macro sense, it’s not surprise to see Kentucky, Louisville, Duke, North Carolina, Michigan State or even UCLA here. The same great coaches keep advancing through the Tournament. Four of the five active Hall of Fame coaches are in the second weekend. The exception, Syracuse’s Jim Boeheim, is not allowed to be here.

Alright +Nebraska Huskers fans, here's our spring football preview. #NebraskaHuskers   #collegefootball
Mike Riley was a surprise hire at Nebraska, and the former Oregon State coach enters his first spring practice in Lincoln with key personnel question marks to address. The Cornhuskers return 12 starters, including quarterback Tommy Armstrong and standout defensive tackle Maliek Collins, but receiver Kenny Bell and running back Ameer Abdullah must be replaced.

Is the +NBA season too long?
#NBA
82 games is a lot of games. That’s how many they play every year in the NBA, and it doesn’t always produce the best results for fans — in fact, it rarely does.

We dig into the Auburn Tigers 2015 football schedule.
#Auburn   #collegefootball   #schedule
Auburn’s offense will be virtually unstoppable as long as Gus Malzahn is in charge on The Plains. But with the addition of Will Muschamp as defensive coordinator, the Tigers possibly boast the best offense-defense sideline combination in all of college football. But the reason this Tigers squad wasn’t an SEC contender last year was due to the brutal road schedule: At Kansas State, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Georgia and Alabama.

Will the LSU Tigers improve in 2015?
#LSU   #collegefootball
LSU went unbeaten in the 2011 regular season and won the SEC crown. Since then the Tigers have dropped from first to second (2012) to third (2013) to fifth (2014) in the SEC West standings. The coaching in the division has gotten significantly more competitive and LSU has struggled at key positions — like, say, the quarterback.

A quick look at the four teams playing in Los Angeles. Here's our preview, TV schedule, top players and more.
+NCAA Men's Basketball March Madness  #marchmadness2015   #sweet16   #basketball
The West region will be full of familiar faces on a number of fronts. For starters, each team in the Sweet 16 is no stranger to this stage. In the last five seasons alone, these four teams have been to the regional semifinal 12 times. But if the region goes chalk and sends top two seeds Wisconsin and Arizona to Saturday, the game will be a rematch of last year’s Elite Eight that sent Bo Ryan to his first Final Four. Here’s a look at the West Regi...

How quickly can +Florida State Seminoles reload?
#FSU   #collegefootball
Florida State’s three-year run from 2012-14 was one of the best in college football. The Seminoles won 39 games during that stretch, claimed the national championship after the 2013 season and made the playoffs last year.

What's going on this spring with the +Georgia Bulldogs? Here's our preview. #collegefootball   #GeorgiaBulldogs   #football
Georgia opens spring practice as the early favorite in the SEC East. The Bulldogs just missed on a division title last season and return 12 starters for 2015. Coach Mark Richt’s team will be busy this spring, as this team has question marks on both sides of the ball and three new coaches are spending their first spring in Athens.
