This company are total rip off artists. They don't disclose the deductible when purchasing their insurance. Then when you make a claim they give a deductible higher than the cost of buying the phone retail. In any other insurance market, this would be investigated and they would be facing serious charges. Be very careful what you are getting into prior to dealing with this company.

Losing a phone while on vacation is probably one of the most unpleasant experiences possible. Fortunately, it wasn't a bad experience thanks to Asurion. The online application was short and simple, and the turnaround time was unbelievably fast. I paid my reasonably priced deposit to have a new phone shipped out and they sent it overnight to where I was staying in California. No delays, no "oops we made a mistake" and no "wait, here fill out 300 pages of how you lost the phone" whatsoever. Efficient, customer-focused, excellent experience with Asurion. Love working with them during a difficult time.

Having your phone stolen is never a good feeling. The only silver lining was how quickly I was able to file an insurance claim and receive my replacement. Asurion is one of very few online services that I have used that was easy to use and fast. Although I hope to never have my phone stolen again, I wouldn't hesitate to use Asurion again.

The actual process to have my phone replaced was very simple and user friendly. My phone came the next day and comprehensive instructions included allowed me to make the transfer of data, etc., very simple. The reason I cannot give a five star rating is because in spite of paying lots of money through monthly premiums and paying a deductible at the time of filing for a claim, I was still only provided with a refurbished phone. Seems to me that a new phone for that much money paid to Asurion over the minimum of 3 years that I have been paying would be warranted. After making my claim I promptly cancelled my coverage and cannot say that I will purchase coverage again when I get a new phone.

worse cell phone insurance company,. I have gone now over a week with out a phone. They gave me a run around about paper work, even after my dad spent two hours in the at&t store to clear up a "passcode" they needed. They lost my paper work and told me twice I need to resubmit it, after receiving conformation emails saying they received them. Four calls later nothing got done, the fifth is the charm. After not receiving my phone after getting the conformation emails I called them, and they told me I need to resubmit it. After a few minutes the person finally found both of my documents and then after arguing with me submitted it. So now I get to pay 75 dollars for a phone that is older than mine, because it is comparable. This is so unprofessional, and I will gladly tell my story. I can' believe I pay so much a month for this insurance and this is what I get when I actually need a new phone... I'm having panic attacks knowing these people get paid to not do their jobs right...

I recieved my phone the next day at 7pm. I felt it was a little late but it WAS here next day so worth the wait. The replacement fee to the tune of. $199 seems a little high. Maybe the policy could be adjusted in favor of individuals who have been with carrier for an long time. Reward their loyalty but giving them 1x free replacement per line? I am 100% happy with my product, a white IPhone 6. It came with charger. I am very pleased with my new phone and have had zero issues.

My experience was great. The phone I replaced was my sons. He is on my Verizon account. His number has an Asurion policy. His phone came in 24 hours. He was so pleased. His old phone was a total disaster! I bought him an otter box case so it would be totally protected. I made him pay me back for the deductible I paid. Hopefully it will make him more responsible. Asurion has leapfrogged Comcast as the worst customer service organization in the country. They advertise overnight replacement, when in fact two weeks later here I am without my replacement. They offer ZERO apologies, credits, etc.. They simply point fingers at the FedEx, the carriers or anyone but themselves. They transfer you from department to department, provide horrible support and offer minimal help/assistance. This organization, top to bottom, is worthless. Their front line reps can do nothing, their supervisors are soulless corpses and I can only imagine that trickles down from the higher ups. This company is on the borderline of fraudulent. Stay at away at all costs.
