Sometimes an animal just needs the right home!
Although 10-month old Crème was incredibly shy when he arrived at the ASPCA, his sweetness was apparent to everyone who met him. Thankfully, a seasoned ASPCA volunteer—and her family of animals—helped this striking Snowshoe come out of his shell. Read Crème’s story today!

: When a number of dogs were struggling with a staircase at the ASPCA, staff members had a bright idea that made a big difference. See how a fresh coat of paint helped these terrified dogs conquer their fear.

: Fleas are most active during the warm summer months, but it’s important to note that not all medications are created equal. Read the APCC’s handy guide for safely treating your pets and taking the “bite” out of flea season.

Since I used to have both, dogs and cats, I just wanted to add that many flea and tick applications also warn NOT to accidentally put cat applications on dogs! Just thought to add this since you only warned of NOT putting dog flea applications on cats. It applies BOTH ways. 😉

Sometimes, it takes a village to save a life.
When a tiny kitten named Chandler was found in dire condition on a New York City beach, multiple organizations stepped in to help. Read Chandler’s Happy Tail to see how it “took a village” to save this special cat’s life.

Approximately 130,000 American horses are shipped to Canada and Mexico each year to be slaughtered for human consumption. It's time to end the cruelty. https://goo.gl/CMwp32 #NotWhatIOrdered
