A number of nearby star systems have large amounts of exozodiacal light (white zodiacal light seen from Earth is pictured), said ESO astronomers Nov. 3. The light, which is starlight reflecting on space dust, is 1,000 times that found in our Solar System. Scientists say the light may make it harder to find Earth-like planets.
A high volume of dust has been found in the habitable zones of some nearby star systems — the places where life is most likely to form.

Principal filming on "Star Wars" is believed to have wrapped on Oct. 31, based on a note from director J.J. Abrams and the movie's producers. The original tweet containing the note thanking the cast and crew was later deleted. Stars of the film were also spotted at a wrap party in London on the evening of Nov. 1.
The cast of the upcoming Star Wars film, directed by J.J. Abrams, began shooting in May. Episode VII is scheduled for release on Dec. 18, 2015.

Anytime a plane seems to come towards the building, the window blinds will close automatically to prevent tenants from panicking.

Actor Christian Bale has pulled out of the forthcoming Steve Jobs biopic written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by Danny Boyle, according to The Hollywood Reporter and Variety. The reports said a deal to cast Bale was never finalized, and that Bale came to the conclusion he was not right for the part.
A second movie based on the life of Apple's Steve Jobs is due to begin filming soon.
