If anyone knows how to "forget" a wifi network on Glass, let me know.
Many folks are fascinated with Glass but are hesitant to ask if they can try it. It took a while for me to realize that I had to offer or they would just stand and ask lots of questions but not ask.
Once folks try it, their faces light up and they get this childlike sense of delight. That's one of the best parts for me is just watching how people react to trying it.
Not just geeks are interested. Many of the hotel workers, including the hotel security, are now my BFFs because I offered to let them try it.
People are so focused on the camera that they don't realize how useful it can be for other things. They're surprised when I explain that my favorite part so far is the navigation.
Folks are convinced it would be distracting to use for driving - and I have to explain to them that it's actually the least distracting method of navigation I've ever used - including physical paper maps. When I don't have to look away from the road to see what my next turn is, life is better.
Even geeks worry that Glass will increase "alienation" among people. When I point out the difference between looking down at your phone and looking at people while wearing Glass, they realize that it's not a real concern. And then, when they try it, they realize just how unobtrusive it really is.
I wore it yesterday over my glasses, partly to rest my eyes from the contacts and partly to show that yes, it can be worn over glasses. Just call me six-eyes.
I still miss Google Now reminders. I look forward to it being added to Glass soon.
