Apple's Aperture
Apple's Aperture Over the last few years i have used many photography apps, at the moment i mainly use Adobe's Lightroom software which i run on a laptop PC with a stupidly high resolution, the image scaling isn't great but it works well once i am editing. ...

for all mankind..
Brad Acker originally shared to HISTORY-TECH:

Today in History: Moon Landing Goal Announced
On May 25, 1961 — 54 years ago today — President John F. Kennedy announced his goal of landing a man on the Moon by the end of the 1960s and returning him safely to Earth. The U.S. met that goal when Neil Armstrong set foot on the Moon in July, 1969, and returned safely to Earth.

Background: The old Soviet Union became the first nation to send a man into space: On April 12, 1961, Yuri Gagarin orbited the earth inVostok 1. Less than a month later, the U.S. sent a man into space for just a few minutes in a sub-orbital flight: On May 5, Alan Shepard piloted Freedom 7 into a sub-orbital flight that splashed down in the Atlantic Ocean. At this point, the Soviet Union was clearly ahead in what was becoming a "space race" between the two global super-powers. Before long, the U.S. had become the leading pioneer in space, but budgetary restraints are now impeding U.S. leadership in space exploration.

great video as always, entertaining but seriously educational at the same time, i have had one of those blizzard bags in my kit for ages and was wondering if it was only one use, you've proved otherwise!

watched the video all the way through, well worth it.  I have always loved your 'no bullshit' approach to testing gear, its the stuff that has to be relied on, it has to be good, cheap crap can let you down when you need it.

i saw the original lars clip a while back too, it was the first time id seen such a thing, but thought it was only useful in serious 'snow country' im glad you showed us otherwise.

quick question, what the coat you are wearing at the beginning of the video? about a couple of mins in its olive/green and looks like it can put up with british weather and has decent zips

looking forward to seeing further videos

PS always love the end credits, great stuff as always

A real greasy spoon cafe. . Not something that would scare off real workman unlike some in the area. .. Open six days a week. formerly the 'cosy cafe' but was renamed after the original owner passed away. good cheap food served with a smile
