Many times we look at things we want to accomplish and think "Woah, will I ever get there?" The task seems so daunting, so overwhelming, so HUGE.
And while we may have the will and desire to chase that need, we are terrified because we feel the leap is too big, too far, too hard.
Today I'm here to tell you that do not believe the BS...and the quote above explains the truth behind any change that we want to make.
I didn't go from aspiring athlete to gold medal olympian in one leap. Leaving a 6-figure corporate job to become an entrepreneur and finding work I love wasn't about taking one blind step off the cliff. (well maybe).
Instead, each of these changes, and any change that you want to make in your life, is about taking small, tiny steps – consistent action in one direction toward your ultimate goal. Committing to a championship mindset, practicing every day, reading books on how to live an authentic and purpose-driven life, investigating how much it would cost to accomplish a goal (in money, time and energy)
Each of these small steps moves you forward, motivates you and gets you closer to what you want.
People often ask me how I had the courage to take such huge leaps in my life and the answer is I didn't. I had to courage to take the first step, then the next, then the next and with each milestone I gained more experience, more confidence, more courage – it’s about small step after small step.
If you have changes you are ready to make in your life start with the first step. The first step is the most important step towards living the life of your dreams!#life #quote #quoteoftheday #motivation
