According to Finnish laws, individuals wishing to choose their gender identity and have it legally recognised, face enforced sterilisation and years of mental health screening. Not only is the legal gender recognition process cruel and degrading, it violates the right to physical and mental autonomy and the right to privacy. It is brazen discrimination. Fighting to change these inhumane laws is 21-year-old transgender student, Sakris Kupila. Will you join his fight? http://amn.st/62618shBL

There is fresh hope for UK nationals, Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe and Kamal Foroughi, imprisoned in Iran. On Tuesday, 18 July, a debate is being held in the House of Commons on British prisoners in Iran. It is crucial that as many MPs as possible attend; to show the UK government there is strong Parliamentary support for bringing Nazanin and Kamal back home. Please tell your MP to attend: http://amn.st/62608SOnO
