Today I'll give you a list with the top-5 things beginner photographers worry about (though they shouldn't). These are things we have all considered at some point or another during our journey from learning how to operate a camera to making great images. Some of the following things, to some extent, in some occasions might actually be things to ponder on. But in most cases, they're just distractions that have been blown out of proportions.

Let's face it: Whenever a piece of equipment breaks down or suffers some damage - even if it's purely aesthetic one - it's never a good thing. Cameras and lenses are sensitive equipment, and even if they are built to last, they are still prone to cracks, flaws, rust, and what not. With the proper care, there is no reason to suspect they will not last for many years. But sometimes, an accident might happen. Or, they might be exposed to the elements with unhappy results. Digital cameras usually either function as they're supposed to or not, but with lenses there is a grey area.

The Internet is filled with cat photos. Most of them are (like the Net in general) hopelessly boring and uninspiring. We all love our pets, and we wanna snap tons of photos of them. But hey, wouldn't it be great to actually take photos that are great looking? Here's my no-nonsense, cut-to-the-chase list of the 5 most important tips for great cat photos.
