I've been to quite a few shows here and always enjoyed every one of them. It's a good space and seems like anywhere you stand, is a good spot to be in. Sound is quality. Definitely enjoy this as a music venue above all else.

This bar is extremely spacious to fit big groups of people. Drink specials are regular and not sure if they specialize in anything specific but pretty general Silver Lake and neighboring cities crowd. I enjoyed the decor of the place, which has strong Asian accents to it. Much like a den of sorts. I love the windows, which gives patrons a chance to get some moonlight while inside during evening hours.

Great whiskey bar for residents of Silver Lake and neighboring cities. A nice lounge area, nicely dim space for a date and/or hang with friends. And it's not located in a bad location - next to Silver Lake Ramen!

El Prado is an amazing place for a date night or just lounge area. The small bar only serves beer or wine and is a very busy and chill place to hang out before a show or dinner. Locals come to wind down and relax. Inside can be a bit dim but definitely a lot of chatter going around.

Came here for the first time on a Monday evening. Needless to say, it was not packed but the drinks were done pretty well, especially the whiskey cocktails. It's connected next door to sports bar Public House.

Disclaimer: I work in this building but do not work FOR the building - get it? The building itself is magnificent and easily can be taken for granted when clocking in and out of this place every day for several years on end. I often don't realize how "cool' the place is or how lucky I am to be able to access this building on a daily basis and be a part of its community. The fountain area on San Vicente is a famous and popular area often used to host exclusive Hollywood industry parties, production location, and various other types of events. We're talking HBO, Oscars, BMW and all kinds of brands/companies who transform the area into an unbelievable venue for their events. Right outside in the courtyard of the building is one of three MOCA museums. This one is FREE every day and always has a rotating artist being featured. The building is fascinating because of the architecture but also very confusing to outsiders because all they see from the are three parts - green, blue and red. These are different buildings that houses different companies. The Green building is pretty much all offices and various retail, advertising, PR, and marketing companies take up much of the space here. The Blue building is where the designers can be found. High-end rugs, furniture, kitchen remodeling, home decor... you name it, they have it. But price tags are extremely high so us employees often can only afford to stare at the pieces rather than buy anything. The Red building is barely finishing up last touches of its many years of construction. We suspect they may be having problems trying to rent the space out but it looks like more offices for various companies similar to the ones who are in the Green building. The parking lot looks finished but still not a lot of traffic going on there. Just some speculation here..... The building is well secured and seems to have a 24-hour security. It's conveniently located right across the street from the amazing West Hollywood library and West Hollywood Park. Great places to hang out at during lunch time!

I've been going to The Virgil since before it was called The Virgil. It used to be The Little Temple and was a local favorite for various special events. With the remodeling of the bar, I love this place that much more (and especially since I live close by now). They make a mean old fashioned and if you take bourbon instead, it's even better. I've always loved the venue because it has two parts to the bar: one side is the stage area with a dance floor where you can get loose and show off your moves; the other is a more lounge area with plentiful seating areas for mingling/chatting. Definitely a fun place for a date night or girls'/boys night out kinda thing. Parking is valet or street. Street parking isn't hard to find if you know where to look :)
