Factory/ Process Automation - Sales/Applications Manager.

Dublin (Flex) - Circa €60, 000 + Bonus + Co car + 7% employer contribution, life and critical illness insurance, health cash plan, 50% BUPA contribution, gym scheme, 33 days including public holidays.

Our multinational client is a leading manufacturer of factory automation, control technology, measurement equipment, networking and connectivity systems.
Suppling advanced technology and "state of the art" electronics to customers who benefit from excellent service, application specific solutions and individual consultation.
Customers include automotive, packaging, fluid power, food, medical and steel.

This appointment is an important step in our clients plan, as they envisage this person taking the lead role by developing their existing business in Ireland.

Reporting to the UK managing director, the focus will be to develop existing sales, influence customer relationships and expand penetration into key markets.

The skills and experience we are seeking include:
• Preferably a technical understanding of factory automation and /or systems, supported by a relevant electronics/ electromech’ degree.
• Possibly an Automation engineer wanting to break into technical sales.
• Capability of demonstrating to customers: ie. Factory managers, Machine builders and End users.
• The ability to be quite self-sufficient and work autonomously in terms of management.
• Mixture of client visits, customer applications, chasing orders, account management, quotes and business development.
