‪A picture says 1000 words. I was the happiest at this time, to catch the early morning sunrise in the Golden Gate Bridge and see that colour in real life! #SanFrancisco #sunrise

One amazing adding to Chrome!
After months of work, I'm proud to share with all of you that Picture-in-Picture (PiP) is now enabled by default in Chrome for Linux, Mac, and Windows. This allows you to watch videos in a floating window (always on top of other windows) so that you can keep an eye on what you're watching while interacting with other sites, or applications. I love it!

If you're a web developer, I'd recommend you read this article¹ to implement this feature for your website media player. If you simply want to try it, check out this sample². By the way, here's a trick for YouTube: right-click twice on the playing video and pick "Picture in picture".
Finally, if you want to toggle this feature on any website, have a look at the official Chrome extension³.

Don't worry: Chrome OS and Android are coming soon ;)
In the mean time, you can enable the experimental chrome://flags/#enable-surfaces-for-videos flag in Chrome OS.

Note: I'll be in San Francisco for the Chrome Dev Summit⁴ to talk about Picture-in-Picture and other media features. Come and say hi!

As first spotted by XDA, Portals are designed to first show you a view of a second website inside of another website. That view can then seamlessly expand to take over the browser tab.
In many ways, this is no different from a link on the web. The difference is that a portal’s destination is preloaded and, when “activated”, will animate into position for a more immersive experience.

You won't realise the value of something when you have it with you. But when it fades away, that gives a hard feeling, eventhough it didn't mattered is the most. We have to learn which is the best and worst and appreciate the best everytime.
.
In collaboration with @danielwellington . They have been really generous to send me a watch but I only got less time to do edits on it. Hope you like this one :) #danielwellington

If you’ve longed for the ability to change the background of the new tab page in Google Chrome, you’ll be pleased to know that this update finally lets you.

You can set a custom new tab page background image using any image you have to hand, or select one from the “Chrome backgrounds” archive.

This “new design across all operating systems” is briefly mentioned in Enterprise release notes for Chrome 69. Simply titled “Browser interface changes,” the changelog does not detail what’s new, but it’s highly likely to be the long in-development “Material Design refresh” for desktops and “Modern Design” on Android.
