Some people might say that news channels and current affairs programmes already tell you what to think. But what if they really did? This, from me, today.

"These days, who has time to watch in realtime?" The question, in the future, may have an answer. +Zoe Goodacre asks you to think.

I'm very excited this #IWD2015 to be able to share The New Female, a brand new women's magazine in whose pages I'm proud to feature.

My piece on toxic perfectionism is on page 54, but please take the time to look through the whole thing. It's a fantastic mix of intelligent and thought-proving articles along with fabulously colourful and diverse photographs.
TNF MAG which stands for The New Female, is an international digital platform providing an uncensored voice for the creative females of today. Its purpose is to inspire, engage and motivate young women around the world whilst highlighting the brilliance of the creative woman. TNF MAG is the disruptive digital platform for Little Miss Creative, a Female Development Agency based in Birmingham, UK.

By me today on +Forbes

Do you worry that you're not "people-y" enough to be a leader? Don't worry. There's not one size fits all and you can find your own way.

Geeks! Are You Too Quiet To Be A Leader?
~ the second half of +Zoe Goodacre's +Forbes series on introverts...
There are certain accepted truths in business. One such truth is that leaders are gregarious and outgoing. But what if you're a quieter character? So 'obviously' you lack what it takes to be a business leader? Really?

We're prepared to sign away a lot of our privacy for convenience. Sometimes we don't realise the consequences of sharing our personal information until it's too late. Some thoughts on on how information shared for your benefit could be used to your detriment in the future.

I've been behind the keyboard again, this time talking about using a coaching approach to sales.
If you're in the sales game yourself, maybe it's time to quit the hard sell and start being a partner.
You think you know what your customer needs -- but do you?

I didn't realise when I first wrote this how much it was fantasy wish fulfilment. As someone prone to overstimulation in public places, I really want someone to make this a reality!

Introduction
With 15 years experience of managing in the public sector, I've recently re-evaluated my situation and started to do more of what stimulates me creatively. I write a weekly short fiction piece for NetApp on the Forbes Website as well as regular pieces on what interests me organizationally - leadership and development.

I'm a trained executive coach and also bring this experience to bear on what I write for Forbes. I'm currently coaching a group of developing clinical managers in the UK National Health Service to learn skills in leadership to compliment their knowledge of how to care for patients.

I am also an actor with a particular interest in using dramatic techniques to empower individuals and help them find their own answers to wicked problems. I work regularly with a UK-based charity - Theatre versus Oppression - to tackle issues such as domestic violence, human trafficking and other forms of oppression by others and by ourselves.

Hot and sour soup is fresh flavored with green chilies and plenty of sesame oil. The Mongolian beef was also good.

Unhurried service and good quality food. someone in the kitchen is a little forgetful, though, and left one of our table of four waiting for the grilled fish. A little on the pricey side, but lovely atmosphere and good fresh food.

The shower head fell apart on me and spilled mould and limescale all over me in the shower and the sheets were blood stained. The only thing to recommend it is how quiet it is given how close it is to the motorway.

When a pub is packed on a Tuesday lunchtime, you know it's going to be good! Tasty, well-prepared food in generous portions served by attentive staff who are obliging but in no way intrusive or overbearing. I'll definitely be back.
