I'm happy she chose to share this and didn't keep it secret.

I've always thought it is funny how buildings are measured.  As a building (height to the roof) 1 WTC is actually a little bit smaller than the sears tower, but it grows to it's impressive height only after you add the antenna - Ooops, sorry, Spire - on the top.  It feels a little bit like cheating.

This is a nice place to grab lunch; the burgers are delicious! There's tables inside and outside to sit, and the service is very good. Be sure to get the smash fries and a shake, you won't be disappointed!

Brooklyn Terrace offers some great views, but that's where the goodness ends. From the time you walk in and deal with the surly bouncer, you'll be lucky if you get decent service anywhere. Beyond Mr. Surly Muscles, the bartenders are dismissive and just overall indifferent and rude; I went here one evening with some friends and the bartender treated us as if we were tourists or each had three heads. If I want a good view and crappy service, I'll go to one of the many roof bars in Manhattan.

I grab lunch here at least once every 10 days, if not once a week! The dumplings are delicious, and the prices are very easy on the wallet. I've yet to try the noodles, but the buns are also really good. Be sure to bring cash!

I was told that Dim Sum Go Go had some of the best dumplings in NYC, so of course I was bummed when I found that it just wasn't true. Don't get me wrong, the dumplings are good - great, even, but not amazing. We went on a Sunday mid-afternoon, and there were only 3 other tables that were occupied. Despite that, service was slow and gruff, which really diminished my experience. As I said, the dumplings were really, but I agree with others that say there are better places to go. If you do go here, order the parsley dumplings, they were the best out of everything we ordered!

Decent place to get a quick hot dog before running back to the office. Service is quick and fast, and during the warm weather all the doors/windows are open so you can walk right in. They also have hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, and other options, as well as various fruit juices and punches. Cash only!

I wanted EB to be amazing, I really did. I finally got around to checking out EB this past weekend, and while it was tasty, it didn't live up to my expectations. The space is nicely set up, with two counters along the windows looking out on the street and another long table in the middle of the room where you can sit and wait or sit and eat. The staff is pleasant and patient (we got the The You Oughta Know and the The Savory Character, $4.50 each), and our order came out pretty quickly. The reason why EB didn't live up to my expectations is that after spending more the $9 for two biscuits, I expected them to be a bit more satisfying. They tasted good, but were very small; I finished mine in about 3 minutes. Maybe I ordered the wrong biscuit, maybe they just serve small biscuits.

I used to eat at or order from the 31st Street Minar when I worked in the area, but that was years ago. After seeing that this location was right around the corner from my office, I had to try it out and I wasn't disappointed! The daily combo specials still come with a ton of delicious food, and at a great price.
