What would happen if you killed your data plan? An experimental peace-hack:
Yesterday something came over me. I became overwhelmingly determined to take another step in simplifying my crazy American life, particularly in the area of tech distractions. Much (digital) ink has been spilled over how everybody looks at their phones when they're out and about. Nobody takes in the scenery anymore, people don't look each other in the eye, have deep conversations at the table, that sort of thing.

The Letter "Z" Weekly #3 is out, feat. Ann Voskamp, Benjamin L Corey, & Ksenia Anske! Check it out & subscribe:
The Kingdom of God is Like...Restaurant Owners Who Scream at Toddlers? My home state has been making the viral rounds lately. Of course, it's for a pretty terrible reason: a restaurant owner who publicly scolded a toddler for crying. It's the opposite of the kingdom, really.

“What’s different this time?” As a young person just beginning my journey in reconciliation, I have had this question swimming in my mind for quite a while. I know the history, I&...

Evangelical support of a candidate like Trump is the last gasp of an ideology & culture that's passing away. Desperation clings to extremes.

The Kingdom of God is Like...Restaurant Owners Who Scream at Toddlers? A slice of life from my home state:
The great state of Maine (that I have been happy to call home since fall of last year) has been making the viral rounds lately for a not-so-great reason. At least a not-so-great reason if you are a sane and loving parent.
