The ever-evolving perspective of SEO: You need to identify how SEO enhances your marketing and where it fits in with your overall business strategy. Don't just hire an agency to help you publish content simply because you think you need to publish content. Figure out they "why" and the rest will come.

What are your thoughts on claiming a private hashtag on Twitter? Is it a reasonable expectation from a brands-only conference that vendors and agencies cannot participate or contribute to a public forum?

It blows my mind how people got things done BS (before smartphones). On the contrary, today we have an over-abundance of interactive tools that will help you stay productive and organized.

We all have our own list of #productivity sites and tools that we cannot function without, each unique to our specific #business and personal needs. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the sheer number of high-quality apps and sites available. With new players coming out every day, I find myself spending more time trying to learn new interfaces rather than making the most of apps I've already established.

My advice is to simplify; find the top two or three that help you get the job done, and disassociate from the rest. Otherwise, you'll spend more time trying to remember where a specific document lives than actually working on it.

Here are my top 5:

1. +Coffitivity
2. +Evernote
3. +Sprout Social
4. Podio.com
5. Calm.com

Two of my top five are completely unrelated to hard productivity, but they get my mind right -- isn't that half the battle?

In the spirit of sharing, I'm curious to learn what your favorites are!

Very impressive feature from +Google today, but in bad taste? Announcement comes days after the company kills organic keyword data. #SEO
