For this Project 26 photo, I decided to take a photo of a graphics card. By trade I'm a software developer, so I thought it would be appropriate to take a close up look at a computer part.

2 - Macro

Remember that whole bring your camera everywhere thing from my first shot? Yeah I brought my camera to work with me for this shot, left it there Friday with the shot on it.... Ended up coming into work an hour early to process the image. Upsetting.

New Beginnings 

I got started in photography with a film SLR (the one pictured) and a simple philosophy: Carry it everywhere. I think in 2014 I've gotten way too far away from that simple thought of always having a camera. So for 2015, my goal is to always have a camera, digital or otherwise... I think I missed way too many moments in the last year and way too many opportunities for photos. I want to focus less on what to bring and more on just having something if I can't bring my whole kit out. 

I may not take a photo every day this year, but the photos I don't take this year won't be from lack of opportunity this time. And that's the biggest thing I want to change in 2015.

One of my coworkers and good friends was nice enough to get us a Mensch on the Bench for the first night of Hanukah. Here he is watching over our menorah.

For #caturday  I present my new kitten doing what she does best. 

It's kind of hard to be upset about anything when you look at this Corgi. 

Missing beach season already... Hoping to get out to a beach in the snow regardless of the cold this winter as well.
